We advise you not to travel at this time, including to Malta. COVID-19 is present in the country. All flights into and out of Malta are suspended from 23:59 on 21 March until further notice. From midday 17 March, all travel to the EU and Schengen Area is restricted for 30 days for non-EU nationals. If you’re already overseas and wish to return to Australia, we recommend you do so as soon as possible by commercial means.

Any person arriving in Malta from any country will be subject to mandatory quarantine. Authorities have banned travel between Malta and Italy, Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland. Contact your travel provider or your nearest embassy or consulate of Malta to confirm entry requirements.
