Myanmar’s national election is scheduled for 8 November. A blast occurred at the office of the Bago Region Election Commission on 6 November. Avoid large public gatherings and monitor local media (See Safety). A Stay-at-Home order is in place for Rakhine State and several Yangon Townships. Further movement restrictions, including curfews and quarantines, may be introduced in other parts of the country at short notice. Follow the advice of local authorities, including compulsory wearing of masks, and monitor media closely. International commercial flights into Myanmar remain suspended.
